I feel unbelievably lucky to be living where we do. It wasn’t my choice though (I can’t take the credit for that) but it was my parents decision all those years ago. I was born here and grew up here (well about 6 miles away), so as much as I didn’t choose this area myself, I have loved it enough to have never left!
I just love the fact that we can jump in the car, drive 10 minutes or so and you can be in the middle of nowhere! For a parent of young children there is just nothing better, its so important to me that our children get out and enjoy the fresh air and that they are active (plus it helps my sanity!!). Whether we are kicking a football around the common, jumping in muddy puddles or looking for Gruffalos in the woods, its just so great to stretch those legs!
